For whom is this course designed?
The course is designed for beginners . Great for students who started "in the middle" and need to fill in your gaps in knowledge.Perfect for the student who dabbles by needs direction.

Upon submission of completed work, students will receive a certificate of completion of the course.


What will be taught during the course?
The student will learn surface preparation, proper paint application, forms, blending, mixing, glazing, shine and shadows all through a series of newly designed projects. Projects will include a still life, floral and a portrait.

The student will receive complete written lessons and video instruction. at my home studio in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.  If you have questions about the course, email and you will receive an answer.


Is there a time limit?
There is no time limit Each lesson will range from 30-45 minutes. The student will come to my home studio to access the course.

The course is designed for intermediate painters and those who wish to teach an intermediate program. Great for students who started "in the middle" and need to fill in a few gaps in learning. Perfect for the student who dabbles but needs direction.

The student will learn surface preparation, proper paint application, forms, blending, mixing, glazing, shine and shadows all through a series of newly designed projects. Projects will build on the beginning series (not a pre-requisite) of still life, floral and a portrait. There is no time limit but a new lesson will be introduced every other week for 12 weeks - for a total of 6 lessons. Each lesson will range from 30-45 minutes. The student will receive instructions at my home studio in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.

    Your first project will be to find a picture of something that you want to draw but have felt intimidated about attempting. Draw the picture and do NOT worry about mistakes and then post it in the first class thread. This will be your reference picture to give us an idea of your level. DO NOT throw this picture away.. Your final project in this class will be to take the samepicture and draw it again using ANY of the techniques that you have learned. Please send me your first picture, this will tell me more about the level you are currently at.             This is important.
